Meet our Pastor:
Rev. Mark D. Vermaire, Pastor
In June of 1999, Rev. Mark Vermaire, along with his wife Lori and their three sons, followed God's calling to pastor Crossroads CRC in San Marcos, CA. Pastor Vermaire came to Crossroads as an ordained pastor in the Christian Reformed Church since 1984, 14 of those years were spent as pastor of Sherman Street CRC in Grand Rapids, MI. Pastor Vermaire has earned a B.A. degree from Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI; an M.Div. from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, CA; a Th.M. from Calvin Theological Seminary, Grand Rapids, MI; and just recently has completed his D.Min. from Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, CA.
Meet our Office Staff:
Rachael VanderWerf, Administrative Assistant
After completing her bachelor's degree in Educational Ministries from Reformed Bible College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Rachael and her husband, Mark, moved west to San Marcos. In addition to designing Crossroads' publications and managing the front office, Rachael is involved with the music ministry and she and her husband are Directors of Church Education programs at Crossroads.
Dawn Gomolka, Office Assistant
Sylvia Bons, Custodian
In addition to maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities, Sylvia assists with church school for the pre-K kids. She and her husband, Frank also own and manage a vineyard in San Marcos. They have four children.
