Welcome to Summer Life Groups!
Please join us this summer as we Grow, Connect and Serve. The summer style of Life Groups is meant to focus on connecting with one another. Please don’t hesitate to sign up because you have summer plans or vacations. We are excited to see Crossroads' church family connect to one another even during the busy season of summer. So, please sign up for a group that fits your schedule the most and enjoy the joy of fellowship this summer through Life Groups.

1. Experiencing God’s Creation through the Bible and the Game of Golf
Gary Radersma

This group is structured for men and women to have a non-intimidating environment in which to invite a friend who is not a part of a church community to enjoy a new relationship with Christians as we participate in a Bible study, friendship, and 9 holes of golf.
Place: Rotating Golf Courses in Escondido & San Marcos area
Time: Mondays/5:00pm
Cost: $20.00—$25.00/week for green fees
2. Digital Scrapbooking and Photo Organizing
Rebecca Ligtenberg
In this group, we will learn how to use Picasa as a tool to organize digital photos and do some basic digital scrapbooking. In the second half of the term, we will learn more advanced techniques using Photoshop Elements.* Along the way, we'll also share ideas about how to incorporate stories of faith in your scrapbooks. (* You will need access to a computer for this group. It does not have to be a laptop, but those who have laptops can bring them. No software purchase is required.)
Place: Crossroads Youth Room
Time: Mondays/7:00pm
3. Beach Life Group
Frank & Sylvia Bons
The Beach Life Group will meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30pm at various beaches in North Country. All ages are welcome to join this Life Group. Pack a picnic dinner, some beach gear, and be ready for some fun.
Place: Various beaches in North County
Time: Tuesdays/6:00pm
4. Game Night
Henry & Lindsey Vander Pol

Do you love getting to know others through games and competitions? If so, join our game night! We'll be playing a variety of board, card, lawn, team and other games throughout the session. Friendly group for all ages and family types.
Place: Vander Pol & Katje home (as well as nearby parks and other locations)
Time: Wednesdays/7:00pm
5. Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis
Diane Jasa
We will read and discuss Mere Christianity by C. S. Lewis. A Christian classic which eloquently yet logically expresses a case for Christianity. In March of last year Pastor Mark published a list of his must read books. He described this book as “the book God used to lead me to Christ as if for the first time”. There will be a cost of $15 for the book if you do not already own it and can not borrow a copy. For those who can not cover this cost contact Diane or the church office.
Place: First Meeting at Crossroads
Time: Thursdays/1:00pm
Cost: Book can be purchases new at $15
